New Artist - THEY
Dante and Drew joined forces to form the great hip- hop duo, THEY. Dante is in charge of producing while Drew is the main vocalist on the THEY's tracks. Dante's production acumen is influenced by Vampire Weekend, Tame Impala, and famous hip-hop producer Timbaland. When Dante produces THEY's music, he is able to incorporate rock influences into his hip hop and r&b music. Dante's productions often include catchy guitar riffs and beautifully placed snares and kicks. At the moment, THEY outsources their guitar to other musicians but both are diligently working to learn guitar so they can play and record it on their own tracks.Although Dante is currently a hip-hop and RnB producer, he actually first started producing pop music and even won a Grammy for Kelly Clarkson's hit song, Mr. Know it All. However, let's not forget the talented singer and lyricist, Drew. Drew draws his inspiration from vocal artists Missy Elliot, Pharell, and music icon James Brown. Drew's voice meshes perfectly with the Dante's productions and together they form one innovative hip-hop duo.
